National programmes

As well as the local programmes we run we manage a number of national programmes on behalf of Government and other organisations. We work closely with our strategic partners to deliver these.

Our national programmes include:

NCS
National Citizen Service (NCS) is a fun but challenging voluntary, personal and social development programme. Through NCS young people will become confident and socially active young adults.

Engage in Education
The Engage in Education programme offers schools and academies specialist services designed to increase the attendance and attainment of pupils most at risk of exclusion from school.

Community Space Challenge
Involving young people in turning neglected local spaces back into something attractive and useful for the whole community.

Positive Futures
Works with communities to get young people involved in sports, arts and learning opportunities.

National Care Advisory Service (NCAS)
NCAS develops and improves the way services are delivered to young people in or leaving the care system.

Talent Studio
A national film-making project created and led by young people. Helping young people develop new skills, increase their self-esteem and improve their long-term employment opportunities.

Youth Design Against Crime
Giving young people the chance to create solutions to real life community safety issues.

Take One
Take One is an active citizenship or Personal, Social, Health and Economic education (PSHE) project designed to engage children in crime and community safety issues through digital media.
