Best practice in accommodating young homeless people

26 January 2012

Catch22's National Care Advisory Service and Sitra are pleased to announce this afternoon tea seminar.

The seminar will explain the current legal position and policy framework for accommodating young homeless people in the wake of the G v Southwark ruling, and will explore how two different local authorities manage provision and protocol. It will give you an opportunity to identify how young people’s needs can be better met within your organisation or locality.

At the end of the seminar you will:

  • have a working knowledge of the legal and policy framework for homeless 16 and 17-year-olds and those leaving care
  • appreciate how different localities have approached housing vulnerable young people
  • explored innovative ways to meet young people's needs.

Register now.
