Staying Put 18+ arangements

Catch22's National Care Advisory Service (NCAS) will run two learning events to share the findings of the National Evaluation of the Staying Put 18 plus pilots and the new DfE Staying Put Guidance (due out soon).

The Centre for Child and Family Research, part of Loughborough University, will present the findings with NCAS and a peer researcher from the study will describe the peer research component.

There will be a practice element with Jayne Coyne from North Yorkshire County Council presenting their experience of Staying Put and how they are implementing it now.

Finally, John Short who worked with the DfE on writing the National Guidance will introduce the guidance and its requirements of local authorities. He will be available to answer questions from delegates.

  • Fostering Organisations
  • Practitioners and Foster Carers.

South: London Resource Centre on Thursday 3 May 2012.

When

Both events will start with registration at 10.15am with a start time of 10.30am, finishing at 4.00pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
