Other ways to give

Donate through your payroll

Payroll giving is an excellent, tax-effective way to support Catch22.

Regularly donating a fixed sum of money from your salary is a simple way to give. It's also the most tax effective, because donations are deducted before you pay tax.

For example, if you give £10, only £8 comes out of your salary. The taxman pays the rest. If you're a higher tax rate payer (40%), only £6 comes out of your salary and the taxman adds an extra £4.

Giving regularly to Catch22 is a fantastic way of allowing us to plan for the future for our young people. It also ensures you can make a really vital difference to a young person's life... today.

If you are an employee and you are interested in donating through your payroll, simply fill out and submit this form to get started.

Thank you for helping young people move on to a brighter future.

Share giving

Giving shares to charity is not only a great way to help young people get on in life but is also one of the most tax efficient ways to give

Why share giving?

By giving shares to charity you are entitled to claim full tax relief equal to the market value of the shares and any associated costs such as brokers' fees.

For example, a higher rate tax payer may pay up to £400 less in income tax for the year if they give £1,000 worth of shares to charity.

How do I donate shares?

  1. Get a stock transfer form from the company Registrar. The Registrar's name will be at the bottom of your share certificate.
  2. On the stock transfer form, in the box entitled 'Full name and postal address of the person to whom the security is transferred', write: Catch22, Rectory Lodge, High Street, Brasted, Westerham, Kent, TN16 1JF
  3. Send the completed form and share certificate to: Fundraising Team, Catch22 Churchill House, 142-146 Old Street, London EC1V 9BW
