This report, supported by the Home Office, presents some lessons about what makes intergenerational work successful. It draws on the experiences of participants – older and younger – in intergenerational projects to explore how activities in which both generations take part can improve relations between generations, improve feelings of community safety, reduce the fear of crime, improve participants’ wellbeing and generate social capital.
