Realising Ambition

Realising Ambition is a UK-wide programme investing £25million in outstanding projects that have a strong track record or have already been proven to work in helping young people fulfil their potential and avoid the pathways into offending.

Funded by the Big Lottery Fund, the programme will replicate the very best evidence-based practice so that more children and young people receive the highest quality of service.

What does the Realising Ambition programme aim to achieve?

The Realising Ambition programme seeks to achieve the following outcomes:

  • More children and young people benefit from opportunities and support to fulfil their potential, avoiding pathways into offending.
  • We build the evidence of what works in avoiding pathways into youth offending enabling young people to realise their potential
  • We are able to replicate the most effective approaches.

For details of the organisations that make up the portfolio, please download the Realising Ambition Prospectus (pdf).
