Catch22’s consultancy service has delivered support to 42 third sector organisations as part of the Department for Education’s Youth Sector Development Fund.

By harnessing the innovation and experience of Catch22 staff we can support small and medium third sector organisations and Local Authorities to develop and grow.

How we help

Catch22’s consultancy service has provided:

  • 11 business advisers to support smaller third sector organisations with capacity-building and sustainability.
  • Training and workshops in specialist areas, such as: youth participation strategies, Hear by Right, commissioning, youth engagement, income diversification and exit planning.
  • Specialist consultancy support in such areas as youth participation, quality standards, youth outreach and commissioning support. 
  • Consultancy to help organisations implement Catch22's Path to Independence programmes.
  • Financial ‘health checks’ to review financial systems and recommend improvements.
  • Safeguarding policy reviews and a safeguarding self assessment.
  • Communities that Care consultancy bringing together local communities, agencies and organisations to work in partnership to help young people.
  • A review of and support for mentoring projects for the Job Deal programme in the south east and east (funded by NOMS and commissioned by Serco).
  • A ‘gangs’ literature review commissioned by the 5 Boroughs Alliance and with Bedfordshire Probation services.
