Floating Support Service Surrey

Catch22’s floating support service in Surrey is for young people, aged 16 to 21-years-old, who are care leavers or are estranged from the family home. The main purpose of the support is to find safe affordable housing and then to support the young person to maintain their accomodation.
How we help
The support can include:
- help with budgeting and benefits
- finding a GP or dentist
- menu planning and cooking
- supporting with finding training or employment
- sign posting to relevant agencies.
We understand that the young people we work with are individuals and that they may be difficult to engage. We ensure that our approach is tailored to each individual young person.
We can offer support to young people during office hours, and we telephone particularly vulnerable young people over the weekend to ensure that they are safe.
Where we work
Floating Support is a county-wide service and works with young people in a range of settings including their own home or meet young people in the community.
