Top tips for fundraising

1. Order our fundraising pack to ensure you have everything you need to support Catch22.

2. Organise an event you would want to attend – this sounds obvious but that way you will be able to add touches you know guests will appreciate, and will enjoy organising your fundraiser.

3. Create a timeline for your fundraising: when you will send invitations or sponsorship emails, ask for raffle prizes, book suppliers and any other important things to remember.

4. Recruit some friends to help on the day and with the preparation. They can approach their own friends and contacts to sell tickets, get raffle prizes and promote the event.

5. Ask your employer if the company will contribute to your fundraising efforts or will match the money you raise. We will happily recognise their support with a letter of thanks.

6. Ask local shops and restaurants to donate vouchers or a gift and hold a raffle for your guests. Be sure to thank them on the day and include their logo in any printed materials.

7. Before you pay for anything ask the supplier or venue whether they will donate it for free or with a charity discount. The more you can tell them about the charity the better, so make sure you have as much information about Catch22 as you can.

8. Keep in touch with us, we can offer you ongoing support, a speaker for the event (one month's notice needed) and t-shirts, collection boxes and support. We love hearing all about your events, and seeing pictures, so please call us when considering your fundraising.
