Catch22’s independent school in Buckinghamshire gains Good Ofsted rating

The Independent Day Special School include Buckinghamshire gained a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating in February 2015, under the proprietorship of Catch22.

include Buckinghamshire, which opened in 2003, is the fifth include independent school to be awarded a ‘Good’ inspection grade across Catch22’s network of independent schools in Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Norfolk, Oxfordshire and Suffolk.

Notably, the Ofsted report highlights:

‘The school’s work to keep students safe and secure is outstanding’

and commends the proprietors of the school for ensuring that:

‘extremely high quality leadership and support are provided by central company staff in the development and monitoring of policy and procedures, including the quality of teaching and students’ achievement.’

Successful registration

Additional success was achieved in February 2015 with the successful registration inspection of our independent school in Salisbury, adding a sixth registered school to the Catch22 include portfolio.

Consistently good teaching and learning

As part of the Catch22 group, include aims to make a difference to the future chances of the young people we work with by delivering quality services in a safe, positive and inspiring learning environment where teaching and learning is consistently good. As an alternative provider, the core of our work is to support those young people who are outside mainstream education and have a range of behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.

Catch22 provides 4 to 18-year-olds with alternative education in order for them to progress and succeed in sustained education or employment.
