Intervention: All Stars
All Stars is a school-based approach to preventing high-risk behaviours addressing youth substance misuse, violence and premature sexual activity by fostering development of positive personal characteristics. All Stars consists of highly interactive sessions that can be delivered as part of the school day.
The programme is delivered by teachers who have received specific training. Students are engaged through small group activities, group discussions, enjoyable and meaningful worksheet activities, games and art activities.

Barnardo’s works with the most disadvantaged children and young people and families. Their locally-based projects for 8 to 14-year-olds worked with 18,410 children in 2012.
