HMP Ashfield Offender Management and Resettlement
Category C adult male sex offenders are supported through their sentence plan to prepare them for release back into the community
HMP Ashfield is a Category C adult male sex offender unit, with capacity of over 400 people. Our team of Case Managers complete the role of prison-based Offender Supervisors. Alongside the community Offender Manager and the interventions teams, our staff review the risk and needs of each individual to ensure that robust sentence plans are created which reduce the possibility of future harm.
The Catch22 model is based on relational continuity. Each service user is allocated a Case Worker who supports them throughout their time in custody, encouraging them to review their thought processes and embrace positive actions leading to change.
Our team work with partners to structure the expectations of service users and prepare them for the next phase within their sentence plan, which may be transfer to another establishment, transition to open conditions or release.
To ensure we deliver the most up to date and effective practices, our team link in closely with field specialists and ensure our staff are cited on the latest research articles and best practice models.
