Catch22 include Norfolk is an Ofsted registered independent school. It provides full-time, alternative, secondary education for young people who have been excluded from their previous school or pupil referral unit, or who need additional support than is offered by a mainstream setting.

Catch22 include Norfolk has 117 places for Key Stage 3 and 4 learners, across six sites in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn. We currently have 108 students. Read all about our school in our Prospectus, here.

Referrals

We receive referrals from headteachers in conjunction with Norfolk County Council, and from The Short Stay School for Norfolk. Read about the referral process for include schools.

Assessment

Young people referred to the school are evaluated and assessed. From this, programmes are created that are personalised to each individual.

We use a student-centric methodology, with staff providing a nurturing environment to work with students, families and parents/carers to support and address barriers to learning.

Curriculum

We offer a robust, differentiated and diverse curriculum for learners from entry level up to GCSE. With an increasing future focus, we support learners to sustain education, training and job career opportunities post-school.

Our vocational focus prepares learners for work and raises their self-esteem through a range of activities. Strong communication links between the school team, parents and carers help to further support the needs and development of individuals.

Learners are also given guidance regarding online child safety and exploitation. Read the latest information from CEOP about keeping children safe online or to report any concerns regarding online safety.

Special educational needs

We have a specialised team with a designated Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to ensure that the needs of each individual are met.

Catch22 provides young people aged 4-18 with alternative education in order for them to progress and succeed in sustained education or employment. We do this through high quality teaching and learning based on effective relationships that enable the achievement of life skills and meaningful qualifications.
