What is Workplace?
Workplace is our new intranet and collaboration site. It is where we house our policies, templates and governance information – but it’s also where we can come together to get to know each other better, driving collaboration and best practice. It’s a closed platform only accessible to our colleagues.
It’s your WorkPlace, where you meet your WorkPeople, to help you achieve your WorkPurpose.
How do I access it?
There is a Workplace icon on your desktop. Click that to go straight to Workplace.
You should also have received an email invitation from Workplace asking you to activate your account. Download both the Workplace by Facebook and Work Chat Apps to your phone through the App Store or Google Play Store.
How do I change my password?
Your Workplace password is the same as the password you use to access your work emails. If that doesn’t work, contact the Communications team.
What about Connected?
Connected will not be accessible from 1st August 2018. Workplace is the place to find policies, guides and other stuff you need to do your job.
Can I switch off the amount of emails I receive from Workplace?
Yes. This flyer shows you how.
I work in a prison, can I access Workplace?
Each team should now have a tablet, which means you can get into Workplace in work hours. Invitations to activate your Workplace accounts will be re-sent to all prison staff who have not yet accessed Workplace. We’re happy for you to use your personal phone to access Workplace from home, just remember to log out after every session.
I don’t have a Catch22 work email, what do I do?
Please speak to your Manager about finding the documents you need.
