This exciting event, in partnership with Baby People, the UK’s first dedicated Hip Hop school, aims to shine a spotlight on the hidden creative gems of Derby and Derbyshire.
The day will include:
Workshops: Immerse yourself in dynamic workshops covering a range of artistic disciplines, from songwriting to breakdancing. Led by experienced professionals, these workshops are designed to ignite your creativity and expand your artistic horizons.
Open mic session: Take the stage and showcase your talents during our open mic session! Whether you’re a poet, musician, singer, or dancer, this is your opportunity to shine and share your creativity with the community.
Meet and greet: Rub shoulders with Derby’s renowned performance artists, including Chanita Stephenson, Rukus & Baby J, Producer Baz, and Idi Akz. Connect with fellow creatives, share ideas, and be inspired by the incredible talent in the region.
Free food and drinks: Enjoy complimentary refreshments throughout the day, to fuel your creativity and keep the energy flowing as you explore all that the Creative Derby Celebration has to offer.
