As an Employer, you can support the development of a high-quality Traineeship programme for your company in partnership with Step22.
At Step22, we can offer a bespoke programme that is fully flexible to your needs as an employer, as well as meeting the needs of the trainee.
For every trainee you provide a placement for, you will receive a £1,000 government incentive (between 01.09.20 and 31.07.22).
There is no limit to the number of Traineeship placements that an Employer can offer, however the incentive payment will be £1,000 per trainee, up to a maximum of ten incentive payments within nine regions. These regions are as follows: East Midlands, East of England, London, North East, North West, South East, South West, West Midlands, Yorkshire & Humber.
Traineeships will allow you to shape the skills and experience of young people from your local community, helping your business to develop a loyal and talented workforce, generating good PR for your business and meeting your CSR agendas.
Working with trainees will give established members of staff the chance to develop their skills in mentoring and coaching young people, giving you the opportunity to upskill and increase loyalty within your existing workforce too.
