Our approach to service delivery is rooted in strong partnerships, which we believe is key to achieving an effective offer. By working collaboratively with In-House Records, EY Outreach, and Intuitive Thinking Skills, we integrate expertise across four specialist workstreams within London prisons. This partnership allows us to deliver a comprehensive service, addressing violence reduction through tailored support in areas like conflict resolution, employability, and peer mentoring. Our shared goal is to create safer prison environments while empowering both staff and individuals.
Catch22, alongside In-House Records, EY Outreach and Intuitive Thinking Skills, is funded by MOPAC in close partnership with London Prisons Group to deliver a pilot Violence Reduction Service in three London prisons: HMP Pentonville, HMP Wandsworth and HMPYOI Feltham B.
The service comprises four specialist service workstreams, which are delivered in a combination across the three custodial sites. The service aims to drive a reduction in the risk of violent incidents, promote pro-social behaviour, and improve mental well-being amongst men in prison, as well as provide capacity-building and development opportunities for staff teams.
