Catch22 is committed to safeguarding and ensuring that all staff are appropriately trained to ensure they are aware of the signs to look for.

Each Catch22 service has a DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) and a Deputy DSL. Both the DSL and deputy have received additional training and, where appropriate, training from their LCSP (Local Children’s Safeguarding Partnership) in order to fulfil these roles.

Catch22 has a dedicated Safeguarding Manager, responsible for ensuring policies and procedures in place and offering safeguarding advice to services. The Safeguarding Manager reports into the Chef Officers Group and Board of Trustees. Additionally, one Catch22 trustee is directly linked to safeguarding, ensuring that procedures in place are effective and compliant with legislation.
