Catch22 Apprenticeships division achieve progress in all areas following Ofsted visit

Apprenticeships division achieves reasonable improvement across all themes following Ofsted visit.

12 December 2019

Catch22 Apprenticeships and Vocational Training (VT) programmes were last inspected by Ofsted in February 2019, where inspectors marked the overall effectiveness of the provision as ‘requires improvement’.

Following this Ofsted visit, the Catch22 Apprenticeships and VT teams have been determined to show improvement across all areas of the provision and programmes – so that they can provide apprentices and learners with the best possible learning experience.

In late November 2019, the Catch22 Apprenticeships and VT team were visited by Ofsted for a follow up monitoring visit. We are thrilled to now be able to announce that across all themes in this inspection, they achieved the mark of ‘reasonable progress’.

Comments by Ofsted Lead Inspector included:

“Since the previous inspection, leaders and managers have taken decisive action to improve the quality of provision. They have established a rigorous approach to monitoring and improving quality.”

Chris Stoker-Jones, Director of Apprenticeships and Vocational Training:

“We are confident that we will continue to make further improvements over the next twelve months, and look forward to the next full inspection where we hope to demonstrate to Ofsted that we are a quality provider for our learners.”
