Naomi Hulston appointed Chief Executive of Catch22

Catch22’s Chief Operating Officer, Naomi Hulston, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer, following a rigorous recruitment process.

23 May 2022

Naomi has been with Catch22 for a total of 21 years, and during that time has held a total of 14 different positions, progressing from a volunteer to Chief Operating Officer in 2017.  She brings with her a wealth of experience in successfully overseeing the organisation’s operational delivery, as well as huge passion for Catch22 and the work we do.

She will become Catch22’s CEO from 20th June and there will be a period of transition up until the end of July when current CEO Chris Wright formally steps down.

Commenting on her appointment, Naomi said:

“This is hugely exciting time to be leading such an incredible organisation. The opportunities for reform and doing things differently brought about by a post-pandemic world present an even greater case for change than ever before. As we move forward into the next chapter, I look forward to working with our teams, service users and wider stakeholders to ensure that Catch22 continues to be at the forefront of creating and delivering the social impact we know makes a difference.”

Outgoing Chief Executive, Chris Wright, said:

“It’s been a privilege to have led Catch22 for the past 11 years and I couldn’t be more delighted that my successor is to be Naomi Hulston.  I’ve worked with Naomi throughout my Catch22 career and have seen at first-hand how talented, committed, and imaginative she is and as we Forest fans sing ‘she’s one of our own’.   Catch22 will thrive under her leadership”.
