These external training offers provide evidence‑based, interactive and scenario‑based learning, delivered either in person or live online, with post‑session evaluation, CPD certificates where applicable, and content tailored to commissioner needs. Core courses include :

• Gang Awareness – Know the Signs, a CPD‑accredited introduction to gangs, exploitation and contextual harm (88% Very Good/Excellent; 4.6/5 satisfaction in 2025),
• Understanding Violence in Young People, a CPD accredited course, which explores violence through trauma, inequality and social context (91.8% Very Good/Excellent; 4.5/5)
• Weapons, Victimisation & Drill Music, offering a balanced, evidence‑aligned examination of weapon carrying, victimisation and drill culture (96% Very Good/Excellent; 4.21/5).

Training is suitable for groups of 10–40, with accessibility adjustments available, and is priced at £2,500 for a full day, £1,500 for a half day (where applicable), £2,000 for a virtual full day, or £500 per hour for bitesize sessions, with additional costs assessed case by case.

Our bespoke training and consultancy offer uses a clear co‑production methodology to design programmes that respond directly to local need and workforce priorities. These include:

• Co‑production – Identify local need, workforce requirements and desired outcomes
• Co‑design – Shape structure, content and delivery approach
• Co‑creation – Develop materials with practitioners and lived experience contributors
• Review – Quality assurance and refinement

Standard lead times are typically 4–6 weeks, extending to 6–12 weeks for more complex or highly tailored work. Pricing includes bitesize sessions at £420 per hour, bespoke programme development from £2,500, with additional costs such as venue hire, travel or materials agreed on a case‑by‑case basis.

All interventions are delivered by qualified practitioners using a trauma‑informed approach and include participant packs, pre‑ and post‑evaluation, and a clear impact report provided within two weeks. Sessions can be delivered in person or virtually to groups of 4–20 and are informed by Catch22’s national Interventions Hub, drawing on a suite of over 50 evidence‑based interventions.

Programmes include R.O.A.D., which strengthens pro‑social identity, emotional awareness and relationships; REASON, focused on emotional regulation, communication, problem‑solving and reflective thinking; and Parenting Uncovered, which builds parenting confidence, attachment awareness and emotional regulation.

Short‑term delivery over one week (4–5 sessions) costs £3,500 in person or £2,500 online, with additional expenses applied where relevant, while day‑rate options are available at £1,000 per in‑person session or £650 per virtual session for shorter or supplementary support.

Our online harms training, through what was known as the Social Switch Project was launched in 2019 to support young people across London to navigate the digital world safely, build positive online behaviours, and develop the skills needed for employment.

To date, we have trained over 3,000 professionals, with 91% reporting increased understanding of young people’s social media use and 88% improving their knowledge of associated safeguarding risks. We are now looking to develop Catch22’s Online Harms Training for professionals and trusted adults on a cohort specific basis.

This session explores Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) by looking at what CSE is, the realities and prevalence of exploitation, key signs and vulnerabilities, common challenges in identifying and responding to harm, and the role professionals can play in safeguarding  and support.

Debt Bondage

This bite-size training session explores Debt Bondage and its links to exploitation, coercion, and modern slavery.

The session will examine what debt bondage is, the scale and realities of the issue, common causes and methods of entrapment, the impact on victims, and the role professionals can play in prevention and safeguarding. It also includes case study discussion, support pathways, prevention strategies, and key takeaways for frontline practice.

Girls and Women in Gangs

This session explores the experiences of Girls and Women affected by Gangs including gender-specific harms. The interactive session will examine the scale and realities of gang involvement, recruitment methods and the roles of women and girls in these environments, the impact gang involvement can have on wellbeing, relationships, pregnancy, and children, and the barriers many face in accessing support.

The session also explores safeguarding responses, prevention strategies, support services, and key considerations for frontline practice.

Grooming

This session explores grooming, including how perpetrators build trust,

manipulate, and exploit children and young people both online and offline.

We also examine what grooming is, the stages of the grooming line, key signs and vulnerabilities, and how professionals can respond effectively to safeguard children and young people. The session also explores prevention strategies, practical responses, and key takeaways for frontline practice.

Knife Crime

The session explores the realities of knife crime and youth violence. This interactive session will challenge common myths, explore current trends and warning signs, and examine the links between fear, trauma, exploitation, and weapon carrying.

Through discussion, statistics, and practical safeguarding approaches, attendees will gain a greater understanding of how to identify risk, support vulnerable young people, and contribute to early intervention and prevention.

Supporting care leavers into employment

Care leavers can offer significant talent, resilience and potential, yet often face additional barriers when accessing and sustaining employment.

Aimed at employers, hiring managers, HR and social value professionals.

This training helps organisations understand the experiences of care-experienced young people, the challenges they may encounter, and the practical steps that can be taken to create inclusive recruitment, onboarding and workplace practices.

Attendees will leave with practical strategies to support care leavers  and employees, helping organisations create accessible pathways into work and improve employment outcomes.

Supporting NEET young people Into employment

Young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) often face a range of barriers to entering the workforce.

Aimed at  employers, hiring managers, HR and social value professionals.

This training explores the factors that can contribute to NEET status and provides practical guidance on how employers can create and support routes into employment.

Attendees will gain the knowledge and tools needed to identify and reduce barriers within recruitment and workplace practices, helping more young people access, secure and sustain employment.

Each session is 3 hours long. Training is suitable for groups of up to 20 for in-person delivery, or up to 40 online, with accessibility adjustments available.

Each session costs £2,500 when booked individually, or both sessions can be booked for delivery on the same day for £4,500. A 20% discount is available for public and third-sector organisations.
