Catch22 is committed to delivering training that is fully accessible, inclusive, and supportive for all learners. Our approach follows the expectations set out in the CPD Certification Service guidance, which emphasises equitable access, active learning, reflective opportunities, and the removal of barriers that could prevent meaningful participation.

Our Commitment to Accessible Learning

We ensure all participants can engage with training content by providing materials in accessible formats, offering adjustments in advance and during delivery, and designing sessions that follow CPD best practice for active, structured learning. All content is written in plain English and supports different learning preferences.

Accessible Formats & Materials

We provide training materials in formats that support a wide range of needs. This includes:

  • Screen‑reader‑friendly documents (PDF/Word)
  • Colour‑blind‑safe slide design
  • Large‑font versions of materials on request
  • Captioned videos and sound‑checked audio
  • Handouts or transcripts where helpful
These formats are in line with CPD definitions of structured/active learning, ensuring materials enable conscious, proactive engagement rather than passive consumption.

Adjustments & Individual Needs

We welcome requests for adjustments at any stage—before, during, or after training. Examples include:

  • Extra processing time
  • Regular breaks or reduced sensory load
  • Adjusted delivery pace
  • Alternative ways to take part in activities
  • Off‑camera participation in online sessions

Inclusive Learning Environment

Our sessions are delivered in a way that promotes psychological safety and participation. This includes:

  • Trauma‑informed facilitation
  • Options to step out if content feels sensitive
  • Clear signposting for wellbeing and safeguarding support
  • Inclusive and representative examples

Accessible Delivery Methods

For online delivery we ensure:

  • All links and platforms are tested in advance
  • Captioning and chat‑based participation are available
  • Materials are sent ahead of the session wherever possible
  • Technical support is offered if needed

Active and Reflective Learning

In line with CPD expectations for structured/active learning, our sessions include:

  • Interactive tasks and discussions
  • Scenario‑based practice
  • Opportunities for reflection
  • Clear separation of learning time and break time
This ensures learning is measurable, meaningful, and compliant with CPD certification requirements.

How to Request Adjustments

If you require any adjustments to support your learning, please tell us before the session or speak to the trainer at any time. We will make every reasonable effort to meet your needs.
