What is County Lines?: awareness session

Catch22 is delivering a session for all professionals who work within primary or secondary schools in London, who wish to understand more about County Lines and Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE).

Aimed at Heads of Year, Pastoral Teachers, Designated Safeguarding Leads, and Subject Leads, the session will provide an overview of these important issues, as well as the impact that it can have on young people and their families, and the support that is available to young people who are caught up in County Lines and Criminal Exploitation.

Topics will include:

  • County Lines, child criminal exploitation (CCE) and financial exploitation,
  • stages of recruitment,
  • push and pull factors,
  • the national referral mechanism,
  • the psychological impacts,
  • social media, and
  • debt bondage.
