Young care leavers are supported with the transition from the care system to adulthood, gaining independent living skills in a stable family environment.
Kent SAiFE was previously known as Kent Supported Lodgings.
This service provides accommodation and support for young people so they can live within a family-type environment whilst acquiring the skills and emotional resilience necessary to live independently.
The approved hosts within this scheme receive comprehensive training plus ongoing support and supervision from dedicated supported accommodation officers.
Kent SAiFE is a growing service and we welcome expressions of interest from people who wish to become SAiFE hosts. Please email or call 01233 223761 for more information. All hosts are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
