View all victims services

We provide emotional and practical support in the home and community for victims of crime along with crime prevention advice. We have experience delivering a range of victim services including restorative justice, domestic abuse, substance misuse and gangs. We use this experience to inform the development of our victim services. We develop innovative and localised services with strong partnerships to meet the needs of victims in each area.

The changing needs of victims: and how to support them better

Read the Catch22 changing needs of victims report. We’ve used information from a range of sources to help us better understand how our design and delivery of victim services needs to evolve to meet the changing national picture of need. Analysing police records, Google trends and news sources have helped us to see what crimes are most commonly happening now and which we’re likely to see develop or rise.

She treated me like a human and not a number in a book. She listened to me and I felt so supported.

Victim

Resources

I have been pleased in how Catch22 have grasped and led on our Case Managed approach in supporting vulnerable victims as well as outreach to those victims who are unable to report crime to police. We are seeing the results in relation to positive outcomes for victims and increased self-referrals into the service. They are bringing reality to my vision that ‘no one victim should be left behind'
